Your Role
As our Associate Dentist, you’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive dental care while engaging with a diverse patient base and collaborating with our experienced team.
Responsibilities Include:
● Conduct dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for returning patients.
● Perform a variety of general dentistry procedures, including:
○ Fillings
○ Crowns/bridges
○ Simple root canals
○ Removable dentures
○ Pediatric dentistry (pulpotomy, extractions, fillings, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers)
● Collaborate with the hygiene team to educate patients on the relationship between oral and overall health.
● Work with our in-house senior dentist on oral surgery, periodontal surgery, implants, orthodontics, and TMJ treatments.
● Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
● Stay current with advancements in dentistry and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
● Participate in community involvement and volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications
● Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
● Active state dental license in good standing.
● Strong clinical skills with proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Commitment to exceptional patient care and a willingness to adapt to new techniques and technologies.
● Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Schedule
The position is part time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our practice continues to expand.
