Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and mission-driven Clinical Director to oversee our clinical services and lead a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality behavioral health care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed behavioral health leader who is passionate about developing clinicians, maintaining clinical excellence, and improving patient outcomes in a collaborative treatment environment.
As Clinical Director, you will:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical and therapeutic services
- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and develop licensed clinicians and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with California regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
- Monitor clinical quality, including assessments, treatment planning, documentation, individual therapy, and group therapy
- Conduct clinical chart audits and oversee documentation quality within the electronic health record
- Partner with physicians, referral sources, consultants, attorneys, interventionists, and community providers
- Collaborate with Business Development regarding facility tours and clinical support
- Develop and implement initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision and maintain individualized supervision plans
- Coordinate and facilitate at least 20 hours of annual in-service training for clinical staff
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain Joint Commission readiness
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and compassionate care
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Current California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist , or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of direct supervisory experience leading clinical services
- Minimum of one year of direct clinical experience working with individuals experiencing mental health disorders
- At least two years of experience or training in a behavioral health setting, including program development for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Negative TB clearance

- Ability to work on-site to effectively lead clinical operations
- Completion of at least 20 hours of continuing education annually in mental health, administration, or related fields
