Inglett & Stubbs, LLC is actively hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support major construction projects in the Cartersville area.
Project Managers at Inglett & Stubbs lead electrical construction projects from initial estimate through final completion. PMs are accountable for planning, budgeting, coordination, documentation, quality, and client satisfaction. They work closely with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, internal support teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and at a standard that exceeds expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Estimate prospective jobs, develop proposals, and support preconstruction planning.
- Build, maintain, and communicate project schedules, manpower projections, procurement plans, and equipment needs.
- Coordinate design documents, RFIs, submittals, engineering revisions, and field conditions to ensure accurate project execution.
- Track labor hours, production performance, material costs, committed costs, and overall budget health.
- Manage original contracts, change orders, compliance documents, and financial tracking.
- Ensure lower-tier vendor compliance and proper documentation for billing, closeout, and audit requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and trade partners.
- Communicate project updates, risks, schedule changes, and client expectations professionally and proactively.
- Support interviews, proposals, presentations, and coordination meetings to represent the company’s values and capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage complex project workflows.
- Experience in construction project management (electrical strongly preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience managing ground-up electrical construction projects, including design coordination and scheduling.
