We are seeking an experienced Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Covina, CA area. This is a confidential position handling critical pharmacy operations for multiple facilities.
Pay: $22.00 – $29.00 per hour (Based on experience) Location: Covina, CA area Schedule: Full-time
Mandatory Requirements:
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license/certification (Required)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Digital Rx software (Required)
- Extensive Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience (Required - Retail-only experience will not be considered)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (Preferred - helpful for patient and facility communication)
- Strong professional communication skills
What You'll Do:
- Process cycle fills, profile updates, and maintenance orders in Digital Rx for LTC facilities.
- Manage medications from order entry through packaging and facility delivery.
- Communicate with physician offices to resolve refills and order issues.
- Resolve Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing issues.
- Submit and track prior authorizations.
- Serve as the main contact for multiple LTC facilities regarding deliveries, emergency kits, and urgent nurse requests.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
Experience:
- LTC pharmacy: 5 years (Preferred)
