CCC Kids is a childcare center located in Trenton, OH serving ages 3 (potty-trained) through 5th grade. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30am through 6pm. We enjoy creating positive memories for children and families that will last a lifetime, while providing a safe space for learning, growth, and development. CCC Kids is a smaller center and we take pride in the strong bonds we've established with our families. It is important to us that any staff member who joins our team also values developing strong relationships with the children and their families. Currently we are looking for team members who are energetic, positive, friendly, and have a love of working with children, as well as an enjoyment for collaborating with other teachers. The positions available for a School Age teacher will be part-time, approximately 30-35 hours per week, but may also offer some availability to float in a Preschool/Pre-K classroom a few hours a day. Experience working in a childcare center is ideal but not required. Candidates should be those who are:
· Caring, patient, and compassionate towards children and their families
· Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with children and adults
· Passionate about the growth and development of children, including social and emotional learning
· Capable of fostering positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers
· Willing to learn and follow all licensing guidelines set by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, as well as implement the policies and procedures set forth by CCC Kids
· Flexible with schedules between the hours of 6:30am-6pm (although most schedules are set)
· Committed to creating a fun environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and supported
· Able to maintain a clean and organized classroom and help to keep the building clean
· Willing to work cooperatively with administrators and other team members to accomplish the goal of building lifelong learners (for example, through lesson and activity planning)
· Devoted to their own lifelong learning through on-going training and discovery
Requirements for employment eligibility include:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Able to complete and pass a background check through the Ohio BCI & I and the FBI
· Training in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse (or willingness to obtain these trainings)
· Experience working in a childcare or school setting desired, but not required (CCC Kids will train ALL staff)
