Mundo Society creates curated cultural experiences that connect people with Puerto Rico through its art, food, culture, and creative community.
We work with artists, chefs, musicians, galleries, cultural spaces, and local partners to produce public events and private experiences throughout Puerto Rico.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an organized, creative, and outgoing person to support Mundo Society across administration, marketing, experience preparation, and on-site execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone equally comfortable organizing details, creating a flyer, communicating with clients and artists, picking up materials, preparing an experience, welcoming guests, and confidently leading a room when needed.
Mundo Society is growing, with opportunities for the role to grow in responsibility and leadership alongside the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support scheduling, emails, proposals, guest lists, RSVPs, and general administration
- Communicate with clients, artists, vendors, and partners
- Create simple flyers and support social media and event promotion
- Capture basic photo/video content during experiences
- Source, pick up, and prepare materials and supplies
- Coordinate with artists and collaborators before events
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics
- Welcome guests and support the flow of experiences
- Make announcements, give instructions, and lead a group when needed
- Troubleshoot and jump in wherever needed
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Organized, reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Warm, confident, and a strong communicator
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and working with clients
- Creative and comfortable with social media and Canva
- Takes initiative and works well independently
- Resourceful and calm when plans change
- Interested in Puerto Rico’s art, food, music, and cultural scene
- Available for some evenings and weekends
Experience in events, hospitality, administration, social media, arts & culture, tourism, or client services is helpful but not required.
Hours and compensation are flexible and can be structured based on experience, availability, and fit.
Pay: $20,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
