This role is a 13‑week local travel Emergency Department RN assignment in Northern California. You will deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to a wide range of patients in a fast‑paced emergency department. Compensation is up to $3,240 per week, based on experience.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions.
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring based on patient acuity.
Recognize changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions promptly.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per provider orders and protocols.
Assist physicians and other providers with emergency procedures and patient care.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and neurological status.
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts when needed.
Perform wound care, splinting, specimen collection, and other emergency nursing procedures.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow‑up care.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, EMS personnel, and other team members.
Follow infection‑control, patient‑safety, medication‑safety, and regulatory standards while prioritizing multiple patients in a fast‑paced environment.
