As an Anesthesia Technician, you will support the Anesthesiologist and other healthcare staff by ensuring patient rooms are stocked with equipment required for p rocedures. You will work within different types of ORs and outpatient areas , offering an opportunity to see new and exciting environments every day. This position is an excellent steppingstone to others in the department and beyond.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 6:30AM – 3:00PM, including both weekdays and weekends.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Maintain equipment by preparing, testing and setting up a variety of anesthetic equipment for surgical use, troubleshoot equipment for problems or repairs and perform preventative maintenance and routine cleaning.

Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods walking, standing, lifting and carrying equipment (usually not over 20 lbs.).
- Capable of pushing and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 150 pounds. May be exposed to bodily fluids.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
