The Academy of Performing Arts is looking for a Piano Teacher to join our team as soon as possible. We have an immediate need and are looking for the right teacher who can begin within the next two weeks.
This isn't a "we'll hire you and hopefully find students eventually" position. We already have students who need a teacher, with the opportunity to build additional hours as we head into the school year!
You focus on teaching. We take care of the rest.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with kids and helping them succeed.
Teaching experience is preferred, but we're also interested in talented musicians, music education students, recent graduates, and experienced performers who have the personality and communication skills to be great teachers.
Voice experience is a plus! If you can teach both piano and voice, definitely let us know.
Schedule
We have an immediate need for a teacher who can start within the next two weeks.
Some summer availability is needed, with the opportunity for additional and more consistent hours during the school year.
Afternoon and evening availability is especially valuable.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging private piano lessons
- Work with students of varying ages and ability levels
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment
- Help students develop their skills, confidence, and love of music
- Communicate professionally with students, families, and our team
- Maintain a dependable teaching schedule
Compensation
$20–$29 per hour, based on experience, education, and teaching background.

Location: Oak Creek and/or Franklin, WI
