Driver
Job Summary:

As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and safe manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-
Safely operate a 13-speed freightliner with a 45’ curation side trailer and Moffet for an overall lengthen of 65’.

Transport materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations.

Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.

Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and reporting.

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.

Load securement.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
-
Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
-
Experience with a 13-speed transmission. (No automatic recreations)

Experience with a Moffet plus.
-
Minimum of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting and driving

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs at times
