We are looking for trainee AND experienced low voltage installation techs. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong desire to advance their skill set in the low voltage trade. We are a mixed residential and commercial shop with a variety of installation environment opportunities. We are a zero tolerance drug employer. We design and install low voltage residential and commercial systems.
What does that mean?
We install home theaters, whole home audio and video systems for homes and businesses, video security systems, as well as automation. Do you love technology, movies and music? - Ability to competently use hand tools such as tape measure, wire strippers, screw drivers and cordless drills
- Experienced running low voltage wiring such as Cat5e, Cat6, Rg6u and speaker wire. No? That's ok we can teach you
- Interested in Home Theater, Networking, Distributed Audio, Security Cameras, Home Automation, Computers You know, Tech stuff!
- Needs to be comfortable in confined or dirty environments such as attics and crawl spaces above and below houses. Sometimes we do that
- Must be Comfortable using ladders up to 16 foot. It's not often but if heights are a issue then this may not be your thing.
- Needs to have a clean and presentable appearance
- Attention to detail. "good enough" isn't in our journey
- Must have a valid Idaho drivers license & clean record or able to get one if you are coming from out of state. You will be driving a company vehicle at times.
- Experience in a trade where the use of hand tools are common is a big plus for the entry level position.
- On occasion we work outdoors in inclement weather. If you are looking for a job that will keep you inside this isn't it. It isn't often but it does happen.
- This can be a physical job and the candidate must be physically able to crawl into attics, under homes in crawl spaces and climb ladders.
The ideal experienced tech candidate will have applicable experience in the low voltage integration trade as an installer. The trainee should have experience with another trade requiring mechanical hands on experience.
