As part of ACN’s central admissions team in Deerfield Beach, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients seeking help — guiding them through screening, verification, and placement with professionalism and empathy. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where attention to detail and compassion go hand in hand.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and follow-up calls from prospective clients and families.
- Conduct preliminary screenings to gather insurance, clinical, and logistical information.
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage options clearly and accurately.
- Coordinate closely with clinical, medical, and intake teams to ensure a seamless handoff.
- Maintain organized, compliant client records within the CRM system.
- Support clients who need alternate care options or outside referrals.
- Escalate urgent or complex cases promptly to leadership.
- Represent ACN’s values of empathy, efficiency, and integrity in every interaction.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in behavioral health admissions, healthcare coordination, or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM or EHR systems preferred.
- Experience with insurance verification and pre-admission workflows is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance.
