Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Conduct basic laboratory tests
- Provide patient education on treatments and procedures
- Scribing
- Assisting with minor medical procedures
- Stocking and checking inventory of medical supplies
- Prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment such as sterilizing medical instruments
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic life support techniques
- Experience in a medical setting
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to changing environments
