As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance with daily activities, medication management, and companionship, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and dignity. Your proactive approach and attentive care will empower clients to maintain their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental health.
- Proivide Medication reminders accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all care activities diligently.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands. Can help with Pet care as well.
- Follow care plans meticulously while adapting to individual needs and preferences for personalized service.
- Maintain detailed records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.
Experience
- Prior experience in home health care or personal caregiving is highly valued. 3 years minimum preferred
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and post-acute care practices enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive support.
- Experience working with elderly populations or those requiring geriatrics-focused care is preferred.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinsons, MS and MD are a plus. Opportunity to be a certified Dementia Care Specialist is offered.
- Exposure to outpatient clinics, sub-acute care settings, or teaching hospitals provides a strong foundation for diverse caregiving scenarios.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
