Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an ISA Certified Arborist, where your expertise in tree care will help shape vibrant, healthy Atlanta estates. As a vital member of our tree division, you will apply your advanced knowledge of tree healthcare, safety standards, and climbing techniques to assess, prune, treat, and maintain trees across diverse landscapes. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, health, and aesthetic appeal of trees while promoting growth practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive tree assessments to determine health, structural integrity, and risk factors using industry best practices and provide prescriptions.
- Perform pruning, trimming, and removal of trees with precision and safety, utilizing proper rigging techniques and climbing gear.
- Operate machinery and lifts efficiently for elevated work on tall or hard-to-reach trees.
- Implement tree preservation strategies during construction projects by collaborating with project managers.
- Use rigging skills to safely lower large limbs or entire trees when necessary, ensuring minimal impact on surrounding structures or landscapes.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree conditions, treatments applied, and equipment used; document findings with photographs when appropriate.
- Generate new sales, manage schedule(s), and draft estimates via Aspire
- Maintain vigilant communication amongst managers and customers
Requirements
- Valid ISA Certified Arborist credential demonstrating advanced knowledge of tree biology and arboricultural practices.
- Proven experience in tree care, pruning, trimming, and removals with a focus on safety and quality.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe removal or pruning of large trees.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and lifts
- Knowledge of Aspire or similar software
- Growing experience in horticulture or related fields such as lawn care or landscaping is desirable.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
