We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to support our operations and ensure the smooth management of our stock.
Job Description: The Inventory Assistant plays a crucial role in managing the flow of cannabis products within our dispensary. You will be responsible for assisting with inventory tracking, restocking, and ensuring that all products are accurately labeled and organized. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong commitment to compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and organizing cannabis products and accessories.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Dutchie POS.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels and discrepancies.
- Monitor product expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Support the restocking of shelves and displays as needed.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs.
- Ensure compliance with all Michigan state regulations regarding cannabis inventory management.
- Assist with packaging and labeling products in accordance with state guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management, retail, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Metrc and Dutchie POS
- Basic knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
