As a Benefits Administrator, you are a trusted point of contact for Union Members, providing clear guidance, advocacy, and dependable support. You deliver consistent, professional service while ensuring benefit information and systems remain accurate and up to date, helping Members feel informed, confident, and supported every time they reach out.

At Union One, our work centers on supporting Union Members by helping them understand and access the benefits they’ve earned—especially during difficult moments when illness or injury affects their ability to work and earn an income.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for Union Members via phone and email
- Assist with benefit enrollment, coverage questions, and billing inquiries
- Provide clear, accurate explanations of plan details and benefit options
- Process and maintain accurate data and policy updates across multiple administrative systems
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of policy booklets, plan details, and benefit procedures
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing communications, including email, fax, and mail
- Support reporting needs and conduct regular enrollment and billing audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

What We’re Looking For
- Typing speed of 50+ WPM
- Experience in customer service, call center, or administrative support
- (Healthcare, dental, or benefits administration experience a plus)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to obtain an Illinois Life & Health Insurance License (employer-paid)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage a high call volume effectively
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (High School diploma or equivalent accepted)
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Ability to work on-site in Lake Barrington with consistent attendance and punctuality
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
