Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pump and Tank Crew Supervisor to cover all work performed at commercial filling stations, including but not limited to; all tanks of every description utilized for holding transportation fuel, including gasoline, diesel fuel, ethanol, compressed natural gas, kerosene or any other fuel used for motor vehicles or sold commercially at filling stations and the installation of all other tanks and related piping, either above or below ground, for motor fuel, heating oil, diesel generators, waste oil or any other product requiring storage tanks including the installation of shoring and dewatering systems necessary for the installation of such tanks. Candidate must have the following certifications:
OSHA, API, SST, STI, CONFINED SPACE ENTRY
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew on-site to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Review schematics and contract documents to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Implement OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Manage budgeting processes, ensuring resources are allocated effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Train crew members on proper use of tools and equipment, including Ohmmeters for electrical work.
- Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction supervision or management roles.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and contract documents effectively.
- Experience with budgeting processes related to construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
