Pay Rate: $50,000–$54,000 annually
Position Overview:
The Vision Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-focused Development Operations Coordinator to support the growth and effectiveness of a nonprofit organization's fundraising and development efforts. This role is responsible for overseeing donor database management, gift processing, fundraising operations, reporting, and system optimization to ensure accurate data and efficient workflows.
The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and service-minded with experience managing donor databases and supporting fundraising initiatives. This position works closely with development, finance, communications, and leadership teams to ensure fundraising operations run smoothly while providing meaningful engagement with donors and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Database & CRM Management
- Serve as the primary administrator for donor CRM and fundraising databases
- Maintain data integrity through consistent data entry, audits, and record maintenance
- Manage donor records, recurring gifts, pledges, and constituent interactions
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, queries, and donor segmentation lists
- Ensure database accuracy and support fundraising strategy through quality data management
Gift Processing & Donor Acknowledgement
- Process financial contributions accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate donor acknowledgements and recognition efforts
- Reconcile gift records and maintain accurate financial reporting
- Continuously improve gift processing and donor stewardship procedures
- Maintain confidential donor information with accuracy and professionalism
Fundraising Campaign & Event Support
- Support fundraising campaigns through tracking, reporting, and donor segmentation
- Assist with event registration, sponsorship tracking, and revenue reporting
- Support annual fundraising campaigns, grant administration, and special events
- Assist with planning and execution of fundraising initiatives
- Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners
- Participate in team meetings, training, and organizational events
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular fundraising and donor reports for leadership
- Monitor campaign performance and donor engagement metrics
- Analyze fundraising data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide reporting to support strategic planning and organizational goals
Systems & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for development operations
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting processes
- Support integration and effective use of fundraising technology and digital tools
- Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three years of related experience in development, fundraising, database administration, or nonprofit operations
- Experience managing donor databases or CRM systems
- Strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills
- Experience processing gifts and maintaining donor records
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and mail merge functions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred
- Experience with Bloomerang CRM
- Experience supporting fundraising campaigns and special events
- Knowledge of donor lifecycle management and fundraising best practices
- Experience working within a nonprofit organization
- Experience with grant administration and reporting
Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and event materials up to 25 pounds
- Ability to attend meetings and fundraising events as needed
