The EFCA National Office is seeking a full-time Manager of Finance to oversee key accounting functions and provide leadership within the Accounting Department. This position supports the Director of Accounting through oversight of the annual audit, grant reporting, banking relationships, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance. The Manager of Finance supervises two accounting team members and plays a vital role in maintaining strong financial controls and stewardship of ministry resources.

Duties
- Oversee ongoing accounting functions, including journal entries, month-end close activities, investment reconciliations, and annual FBAR filings.
- Review and approve ACH transactions, domestic and international wire transfers, and other banking activities.
- Manage banking relationships, authorized users, fraud controls, and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain and update cash flow reporting and advise leadership regarding cash management needs.
- Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process, including preparation, scheduling, workpaper review, and auditor communication.
- Oversee annual grant reporting requirements and ensure timely compliance.
- Serve as backup for various accounting and financial operations functions as needed.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and compliance with IRS, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of accounting procedures and processes.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Financial Operations Accountant and Purchase Card Administrator.
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
Skills and Education

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Five or more years of accounting experience required, including nonprofit, public accounting, or audit experience.
- Experience with not-for-profit fund accounting preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, IRS regulations, and GAAP.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Ability to lead with a servant-hearted approach and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to spend significant portions of the workday using a computer and keyboard.
