We are seeking experienced Commercial Rough Carpenters for a long-term commercial job construction project in Florence, Texas. This position is responsible for performing structural carpentry, framing, layout and installation of wood and metal framing systems while working from blueprints and maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret commercial construction blueprint drawings
- Perform layout for walls, openings and structural components
- Frame wood and metal stud walls according to project specifications
- Install blocking, backing, soffits, and framing for doors, ceilings and other structural elements
- Measure, cut and assemble framing materials accurately
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lasers, and layout equipment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of recent commercial rough carpentry experience
- Reliable transportation to Florence, Texas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
