American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center in Downers Grove, IL, with at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification required.

333-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Center with ACR CT Accreditation
-
CT department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
-
1:1 patient ratio with approximately 10–12 exams per 8-hour shift
-
Procedures include routine CT studies such as chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE protocol, brain, and head
-
Portable exams performed in the ED and other inpatient units
-
Equipment includes GE CT Revolution, GE CT HD750, GE CT LightSpeed, and GE PACS
-
EMR: Epic (experience preferred)

10-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, 40 hours per week
-
No floating required
-
No weekend rotation or on-call requirements

Holiday coverage expectations vary

Minimum 12 months of CT experience, with most recent experience within the last year
-
Graduate of an accredited CT program
-
Active BLS, IEMA, and ARRT (CT) certifications required

License required if applicable

Proficiency in routine CT procedures including chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE, brain, and head
-
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with ancillary staff and other CT Technologists

1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
-
Candidate's middle name or initial, DOB, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

First-time travelers are considered on a case-by-case basis

RT and Hospitalist support available 24/7

Orientation includes general onboarding (badge and login access) plus 24–40 hours of unit-specific training

A manager interview is required as part of the hiring process
