Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Custodian/Janitorial Staff to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a safe and attractive environment.
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas thoroughly, restocking supplies as needed.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to the appropriate team.
- Support residential painting projects or touch-ups as required to uphold facility appearance standards.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and operate cleaning equipment responsibly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with strong janitorial skills.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various flooring types.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and cleaning tools.
- Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or porter responsibilities is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently.
