Global Engine Maintenance (GEM) is an FAA Part 145 / EASA Certified aircraft engine maintenance company specializing in the repair and overhaul of CFM56 engines. We are seeking an Operations BI Specialist to support our production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams by transforming operational data into meaningful business insights. This is a full-time, on-site position in Doral, Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
What You'll Do
As an Operations BI Specialist, you will work directly with department leaders to improve reporting, identify trends, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across our maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, organize, and analyze data from multiple company systems and databases.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
- Analyze production, quality, inventory, workforce, and operational performance data.
- Design dashboards that provide meaningful visibility into business performance.
- Monitor data accuracy and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with managers to understand reporting needs and provide actionable insights.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership.
- Support forecasting, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with ERP reporting, data integrity, and system improvements within the Quantum ERP system.
- Create visual presentations and documentation to communicate analytical findings.
- Maintain reporting processes and analytical documentation.
- Provide technical support related to reporting tools and business analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional Data Analyst or Business Intelligence experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI and SQL required.
- Experience working with ERP systems and databases preferred.
- Manufacturing, aviation, MRO, or industrial experience is highly preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site in Doral, FL.

Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based environment.
- Frequent computer use.
- Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
- Occasional visits to production areas requiring PPE.
