Job Summary
Alabama Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Vascular Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, to assess blood flow in arteries and veins.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and obtaining relevant medical history.
- Analyze imaging results in real-time, identifying abnormalities or areas requiring further investigation.
- Maintain precise documentation of all procedures, findings, and patient interactions in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret diagnostic data and support clinical decision-making.
- Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and physiological responses of patients during examinations to ensure safety and comfort.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vascular Sonographer or in a similar diagnostic imaging role within a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, anatomy relevant to vascular systems, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
