Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Box Truck Driver (CDL) to join our team. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from one location to another. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication skills, and a valid commercial driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to customers on time and within budget
- Load and unload products using Pallet Jack when needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route logs and customer signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Ensure a safe and secure driving environment, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Plan and navigate routes to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience driving a commercial truck with air brakes
- Ability to operate a forklift/Pallet Jack
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, if necessary
- Familiarity with delivery driver software and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with moving and logistics
- A clean driving record and a commitment to safety on the road
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week
