Overview
The Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for worksite safety on all our projects. The TCS is responsible for implementing and overseeing the project’s traffic control plan, lane closures, construction zone signing, setting up and taking down lane closures and supervision of flaggers.
Responsibilities include:
- The primary duty of the Traffic Control Supervisor is to coordinate and inspect traffic control set-ups for conformance with approved traffic control plans
- Ensure all safety and PPE policies are followed by all workers on the jobsite
- Communicate effectively with employees, Project Supervisor, Foremen, Traffic Control Manager and customers
- Responsible for the placement of traffic cones, arrow boards or other traffic safety devices in the work zone at beginning and end of shift
- Supervise flaggers on the job site
- Complete daily paperwork, timesheets, tickets, etc. timely and accurately
- Other duties as needed. Inclusive of flagging and miscellaneous labor tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with team members inside and out of the organization
- Must maintain CCA or ATSSA TCS Certification
- A valid Colorado driver license and clean MVR
- Ability to travel to jobsites in Denver and surrounding areas.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Drug Screen required.
