Overview
We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Grounds & Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our community’s common areas, landscaping, and water features well-maintained, safe, and attractive year-round. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, hands-on experience with outdoor maintenance, and takes pride in creating a clean, well-kept environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care including mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal leaf removal.
- Handle landscaping tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and basic tree or shrub care.
- Maintain fountains, ponds, and related water systems, ensuring proper operation and cleanliness.
- Safely operate and maintain tools, power equipment, and small machinery such as mowers and trimmers.
- Assist with irrigation system upkeep and adjustments as needed.
- Support minor construction, repair, and hardscape projects (walkways, retaining walls, etc.).
- Provide snow and ice removal during winter months for safe access around the community.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas, tools, and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating light equipment or machinery.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with leaf removal, snow plowing, or tree trimming preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
