Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Dishwasher to join our hospitality team at a family owned restaurant. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Help with food preparation and food service as needed.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking duties.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishroom and surrounding areas.
- Help with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including the disposal of trash and recyclables.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, including dishes and equipment.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to help guests and staff.
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist with other kitchen staff as needed.
- Familiarity with culinary procedures and terminology.
- Experience in hospitality and guest service is an asset.
