What You’ll Do
- Be the Face of Atomic: Run residential and light commercial service calls throughout the Knoxville area, delivering a 5-star, friendly customer experience built on reliable, high-quality work.
- Own the Experience: We want someone who will confidently own the process from start to finish on their calls, ensuring every single detail is managed flawlessly and that you completely finish what you start.
- Solve Problems with Precision: Methodically troubleshoot wiring, breakers, lighting, and smart systems, turning frustrated customers into happy ones through accurate and safe solutions.
- Lead & Inspire: Mentor our apprentices, share your exact technical knowledge, and set the standard as a lead craftsman.
- Stay Connected & Organized: Use our streamlined digital tools (tablets) for easy, highly detailed scheduling, notes, and communication with the dispatch team.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of residential or light commercial electrical experience (completed apprenticeship preferred or equivalent field time).
- A "Thorough" & "Skilled" Standard: You pay close attention to details, never cut corners, and take massive pride in knowing your craft and executing it safely.
- A "Friendly" Attitude: You believe that "fun can be found in the smallest of tasks with the right attitude". You are professional, approachable, and respectful in every interaction.
- Clear Communication: You are highly engaging and comfortable explaining complex technical electrical concepts to homeowners in a friendly, easy-to-understand way.
- A "Humble" Mindset: You stay teachable, respect others, and check your ego at the door.
- The Basics: Valid driver’s license, clean background, comfortable with technology, and your own hand tools. No license required – but if you want one, we’ll help you get there!
- Commitment to Safety: You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, as we are strictly a Drug-Free Workplace and expect our team to report to work fit for duty.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. Overtime is required as needed to ensure the job is done right and the customer is taken care of. No current on-call rotation.
- Location: Based in Knoxville, serving Knox County and nearby areas.
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate plus performance bonuses, based on experience.
