Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and file management tasks to maintain accurate and organized legal documents
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and track legal documents
- Provide clerical support to attorneys and legal staff as needed
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR LITIGATION EXPERIENCE
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Excellent attention to detail for proofreading legal documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
