Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, trouble shoot, repair, clean, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of Pancho Anaya Mexican Bakeries goals and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment for the production of goods.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance including, but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches, and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, outlets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc..) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.)
- Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles.)
- Perform basic mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting of production equipment. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and production equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service.
- Must be familiar and able to use, but not limited to, basic hand tools, power tools, Multimeter, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly workspace and tool box.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Able to work flexible hours.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years maintenance experience in a factory setting.
- Self-starter dedicated to the continual quality improvement.
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to safety practices/ Quality Assurance guidelines
- Ability to plan and manage projects under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit, stand, walk throughout the scheduled work shift.
- Able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
