DK Condominium Management LLC is a local property management company based in Winthrop, Massachusetts, which specializes and concentrates solely on HOA / Condominium management. The LLC’s management concept is founded on professionalism, integrity, accountability, and quality service. The LLC’s portfolio includes several condominiums with goals of expanding. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of the managed locations in the Revere / Winthrop area.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine (basic) repair and maintenance tasks, troubleshoot or diagnose issues and conduct preventive maintenance related to common area equipment and / or fixtures
- Perform basic cleaning (trash removal) and landscaping tasks such as lawnmowing, trimming etc.
- Complete basic service requests around the complex (using handyman, carpentry or light plumbing skills)
- Assist with snow plowing or snow removal projects during winter
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from unit owners and management and address concerns and issues affecting the common areas (some diagnostics or maintenance tasks may be required inside individual units)
- Oversee and coordinate the work of contractors and vendors when necessary
Key Job Requirements:
- Some experience in General Maintenance or a related field
- Basic customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with owners, management and other individuals at all levels
- Ability to troubleshoot and use problem-solving techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic Electrical (ability to install fixtures, make minor repairs, etc.)
- Basic Plumbing skills
- Basic Carpentry skills
- Basis Landscaping skills
- Must be able to pass a drug, credit and / or criminal background check
Additional Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive plow-truck, Bobcat and / or other vehicles and machinery
- Ability to use lawnmower, trimmers, and other landscaping machines and tools
- Ability to rotate on call with a team of other technicians
- Ability to do some heavy lifting
- Ability to operate all necessary hand tools and to kneel, climb ladder, and / or crawl to reach items in need of repairs
- Knowledge of general maintenance and landscaping processes and methods
- Familiarity with hand and electrical tools
