Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following company standards for quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Subway POSs efficiently for order processing and payment handling
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and upsell additional items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Restock supplies, organize ingredients, and ensure food safety standards are consistently met
- Assist with bussing tables or cleaning dining areas during busy periods to support smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments; culinary or café experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable; restaurant or grocery store background preferred
