Job Summary
Family practice seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within fast-paced clinical environments. Responsibilities include: handling patient intake, performing vital signs, and supporting clinical operations across outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care. Full time, 40 hours/week 8am-5pm. Requires minimum 1 year of health care/clinical experience. Responsibilities
- Administer injections/immunizations for scheduled patient appointments.
- Conduct patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and current complaints efficiently and accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to assist clinicians in diagnosis.
- Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with procedures.
- Utilize the EHR to document patient information, update records, and ensure data accuracy.
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
