Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Dr. Laura Habner and team are excited to welcome an amazing Front Desk Coordinator to our warm, patient-focused dental practice in Clearwater!
We are looking for someone who brings kindness, energy, professionalism, and positivity to every interaction. Our ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about making patients feel welcome and cared for from the moment they walk in the door. Dental experience is a must for this position (preferably 3 years or more experience).
Job Responsibilities
As the first and last point of contact for our patients, you play a key role in shaping their experience.
Responsibilities include:
Patient Experience & Reception
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, friendly environment
- Check patients in and out efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all details
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, warmth, and clarity
- Manage online requests, email and text confirmations, and patient inquiries
Scheduling & Practice Efficiency
- Schedule and confirm appointments to keep the day running smoothly
- Fill cancellations and maintain a productive schedule using recall systems, follow-up calls, and patient communication
- Monitor daily flow to help ensure timely patient care
- Utilize Dental Intelligence patient engagement for patient communication and insurance verification
Financial & Insurance Coordination
- Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and verify patient financial responsibilities
- Submit insurance claims, narratives, and required attachments
- Track unpaid claims and follow up to ensure timely reimbursement
- Accurately input patient and insurance information into Dentrix
Administrative & Team Support
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate clearly and frequently with both patients and team members
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with various administrative duties to support the practice as needed
Dentrix experience is preferred, but not required.
A high level of communication skill and impeccable attention to detail are a must.
