Join the MVT Family! Mesilla Valley Transportation is now hiring a Yard Operations Coordinator in Groveport, OH!!!
The Yard Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the terminal yard and equipment in it.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with departments to ensure truck issues are solved and recovered.
- Tracks trucks and maintains all necessary reports to communicate with other departments across the company.
- Maintains daily and accurate inventory of tablets.
- Conducts daily audits of yard equipment with no discrepancies.
- Inspects all trucks for damages and cleanliness.
- Demonstrates high resource utilization.
- Monitors and responds to emails in a timely manner.
- Maintains cleanliness of the yard.
- Rearranges and organizes equipment in the yard.
- Collaborates with guards to maintain yard security.
- Reports and escalates issues to terminal manager.
- Conducts inspections of minor maintenance of equipment, both tablet and mechanical.
- Assists with driver training.
- Accurately enters information into AS400.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Class A commercial driver license (CDL)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience in a motor carrier operation.
- Basic knowledge of North American geography.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
