Riggins Bookkeeping Solutions is a specialized bookkeeping firm serving real estate investors and short-term rental owners throughout the United States.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships while ensuring every set of financials delivered by our team is accurate, complete, and on time.
This is not a sales position.
You will become the primary point of contact for your assigned clients after onboarding, acting as the bridge between our clients and bookkeeping team. You'll oversee monthly workflows, review financial reporting, communicate proactively, and ensure every client receives an exceptional experience.

Position Details
Position: Account Manager
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Part-Time W-2 Employee
Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week to start, with additional hours during month-end close.
Pay: $32-$40 per hour, depending on experience
Availability: Must be available Monday through Friday during standard business hours for client communication and team collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients after onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service.
- Respond to client emails and Slack messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep clients informed throughout the monthly bookkeeping and close process.
- Follow up on missing documentation needed to complete monthly bookkeeping.
- Manage client expectations and communicate proactively regarding deadlines or outstanding items.
Financial Review & Quality Control
- Review bookkeeping completed by the bookkeeping team for accuracy and completeness.
- Review bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Review balance sheet accounts and investigate unusual balances.
- Review owner statements before delivery.
- Review trust accounting transactions and reconciliations (training provided).
- Ensure financial reports are complete and accurate before being delivered to clients.
- Coordinate corrections with bookkeepers when necessary.
Workflow Management
- Assign work to bookkeepers as needed.
- Monitor monthly close deadlines across assigned clients.
- Identify potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with Operations regarding workflow and capacity when needed.
Process & Quality
- Follow and help improve company SOPs.
- Maintain organized client documentation within Notion.
- Identify opportunities to improve client experience and internal workflows.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and financial accuracy.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as the company grows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of client management, account management, or leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Experience reviewing the work of other bookkeepers.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain financial information to non-accountants.
- QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification required.

Real estate bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
