Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads, stacking pallets, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Use barcode scanning systems for logistics tracking, order picking, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain inventory management records through warehouse management systems (WMS), including stock counts and location updates.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and forklift safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for shipment or storage according to company procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation of all machinery.
- Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations by adhering to safety standards in production and participating in warehouse management practices.
Experience
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including reach trucks, clamp trucks, and lift trucks) and manual handling tools like pallet jacks and material carts.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation and workplace safety standards in production environments.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload activities, inventory control, and materials handling.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting mechanical issues is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during manual handling tasks.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy are essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.32 per hour
