We are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of commercial flooring projects from contract award through final closeout.
This position is ideal for an experienced flooring professional who understands the commercial construction industry, knows how to manage projects profitably, communicates effectively with General Contractors and customers, and can coordinate installers, material suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial flooring projects from award through completion and closeout
- Review contracts, plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
- Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, installers, subcontractors, and field operations
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Communicate directly with General Contractors, owners, architects, designers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Review project drawings and specifications for scope, conflicts, and potential issues
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, labor, material, and overall profitability
- Review and approve field measurements and material requirements
- Coordinate with estimating and operations to ensure a smooth transition from awarded project to installation
- Identify potential project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedule or profitability
- Attend project meetings and site meetings as required
- Monitor installation progress and address field issues
- Assist with billing, collections, punch lists, and project closeout
- Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, customers, installers, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed according to contract requirements, quality expectations, schedule, and budget
What We're Looking For
Required
- 7–15+ years of commercial flooring experience
- Proven experience managing commercial flooring projects
- Strong understanding of commercial flooring products and installation methods
- Experience working with General Contractors and commercial construction teams
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, change orders, and project documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $85,000–$105,000+ based on experience
- Annual Bonus based on profitability of the company.

Preferred
- Experience with healthcare, education, corporate, hospitality, retail, or other large commercial projects
- Experience managing projects with significant flooring scopes
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- Experience with estimating, takeoffs, or project turnover
- Established relationships within the Cincinnati commercial construction market
- Experience managing subcontractors and installation crews
- Understanding of flooring specifications and Division 09 requirements

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
