Skowron Eye Care is a private practice established in 1983. Focusing wholly on the patient, from diagnosing and managing eye diseases, dispensing fashionable eyewear, fit complex contact lenses, co-managing pre and post Lasik and cataracts surgeries. Our dispensary has over 1000 optical frames and over 200 sunglasses covering a wide variety of styles and brands.
An optician would be responsible for the following:
- Ability to repair, trouble shoot, adjust glasses
- Taking correct measurements of pupillary distance, progressive, and bi-focal seg heights
- Submit glasses order through insurance and lab
- Assist with fit and style of glasses for all patients, this would range from children to geriatric
- Be able to open optical facility each morning
- Neutralize Glasses (auto and manual)
- Answer Phones
- Schedule Appointments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
