Position Summary
Excel Maintenance Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Site Manager to provide overall leadership for contractor operations supporting K-Bin and ShinTech in Freeport, TX.
This position is responsible for site performance, client coordination, workforce oversight, supervisor accountability, safety compliance, and contract support. The Site Manager will oversee multiple work groups and shifts through direct leadership of site and shift supervision.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, material handling, or plant operations, with the ability to lead supervisors, manage client relationships, and maintain a strong culture of safety and accountability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for assigned contractor operations.

Lead and hold site supervisors, shift supervisors, leadmen, and key personnel accountable for safety, performance, staffing, communication, and execution.

Serve as a primary point of contact between client representatives, site supervision, company leadership, and internal support departments.

Ensure site operations are performed in alignment with company expectations, client requirements, contract obligations, and applicable safety and regulatory standards.

Monitor site performance, productivity, safety trends, employee relations matters, and operational challenges.

Partner with site supervision and internal support departments to address operational needs, resolve issues, and support site objectives.

Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, supervisor accountability, and consistent reinforcement of site expectations.

Support incident review, corrective action follow-up, and accountability measures as appropriate.

Identify opportunities to improve staffing, supervision, workflow, safety, efficiency, and employee performance.

Support budgeting, cost control, manpower planning, and operational decision-making as needed.

Ensure site documentation, reporting, and administrative processes are completed accurately and timely through the appropriate supervisory and support channels.

Perform other leadership and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Prior site management, operations management, or senior supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, material handling, construction, plant operations, or a similar industrial environment required.

Experience overseeing multiple crews, shifts, crafts, departments, or job classifications preferred.

Strong understanding of contractor operations within an industrial or client-controlled facility.

Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.

Strong knowledge of industrial safety expectations, workforce accountability, and operational execution.

Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing operational needs.

Basic computer skills required, including email, reporting tools, and workforce management systems.

Must be able to work the schedule required by the site and respond to operational needs as necessary.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Must be able to work in an industrial plant environment, including exposure to heat, humidity, noise, dust, chemicals, moving equipment, and other industrial site conditions.

Must be able to access various areas of the jobsite as needed.

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
