Duties
- Operate professional carpet cleaning equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens from various types of carpets and flooring surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain a polished appearance
- Assess each job site to determine the most effective cleaning methods and products for optimal results
- Maintain all cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for daily use
- Follow safety protocols and environmentally friendly practices during all cleaning procedures
- Document completed work and communicate any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or environmental services is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality results
- Excellent physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment throughout the workday
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
