97 Rock House is a unique café/travel stop located 11 miles from Leavenworth.
Café position duties may include but are not limited to preparing food, espresso drinks, taking orders/register, stocking & maintaining a clean workspace. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, requires multi-tasking, attention to detail, ability to stand for hours and provide great customer service.
Product:
- Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
- Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.
- Follow all company drink and menu item recipes and procedures.
- Begin to educate themselves on the various types of coffee, blends and roasts.
Service:
- Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
- Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
- Reports all customer complaints to supervisor on duty.
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
- Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and count back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Sells and serves menu items and food items to customers.
- Maintains efficient and friendly service.
Environment:
- Restocks shelves when necessary
- Routinely cleans countertops, grinders/ espresso machine, workspace, floors, windows, bathrooms and takes out trash, etc.
- Assists in distribution and putting away weekly shipments.
- Reports potential safety hazards to the supervisor on duty.
- Reports all employee accidents to supervisor on duty.
- Informs the manager/ supervisor on duty of any operational inconsistencies.
Requirements, Qualifications and Physical Demands:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- May work special events as needed
- Maintains positive company morale and professional attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Well-organized, detail oriented, and reliable.
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk and lift heavy items
- Must be able to communicate with other employees and customers.
- Must be able to obtain MAST and Food Handler Card
