Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with bussing tables when necessary to support front-of-house operations.
- Cleaning Toilets and back area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols is beneficial.
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus, particularly in banquet or catering environments.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
