ERP Analyst| Shared Services| Remote| Contract
The Shared Services team is seeking a ERP Analyst experienced in the operations of higher education business units. The ERP Analyst will provide management and oversight of technical and functional support activities for ERP’s and enterprise administrative systems. The ERP Analyst will work with end users to identify and resolve problems and determine solutions and best practices for business processes. The ERP Analyst will ensure continuous quality improvement that includes business process review and re-engineering, data conversion, upgrades, process optimization, and project management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides sustainable solutions for functional offices through the application of knowledge of our partner’s data ecosystem and programming knowledge.
- Perform necessary functional testing to ensure the success of upgrades and solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed written documentation.
- Update and maintain all assignments regularly in ITSM tool.
- Collaborate with IT team on implementing/troubleshooting to bring issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with user committees and provide thought leadership.
- Facilitate the collection of business needs and requirements.
- Develop and review functional requirements for assigned projects.
- Develop and review technical requirements to ensure that the goals of the projects are being met and avoid scope changes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes to best leverage ERP systems.
- Document workflow and processes.
- Provide system configuration training and usage guidance to users.
- Provide timely communications.
- Develop scenario-based test plans.
- Adhere to change management procedures.
- Ability to present and explain complex technical topics, problems, and solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in a related field is required, with strong preference given to academic study in computer science, math, or a related field or a combination of progress towards a degree and relevant work experience.
- Powercampus technical / Power User
- Powercampus Database Structure
- Knowledge of MS SQL and MS SQL Management Studio
- Knowledge of reporting tools: Power BI, SSRS Crystal Report or similar reporting platforms
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Strong customer centric skillset
- Self-motivated, task focused individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- 2+ years enterprise application support
- Strong operational knowledge of Higher Education functional departments is preferred: Human Resources, Finance, Student Records, Admissions, Financial Aid, Portal, and other modules from both technical and user support perspectives.
- Strong knowledge of other higher education ERP’s (Banner, Colleague, Jenzabar, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time for the purpose of using a computer.
- Must be able to crawl under tables and or desks for wiring and cabling needs
- Travel up to 15% will be required
