Summary
We are seeking an experienced, mastered Quality Inspector to join our team at LCR Embedded Systems. We are a growing company needing to add excellent team members to grow with us! This role is vital in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous inspection processes. The Quality Inspector will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional engineering solutions while upholding the highest standards of quality. Must be a citizen of the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
· Read and understand customer-supplied documents, drawings, specifications, material certifications and department procedures.
· Visual, mechanical, and/or electrical testing of product throughout various stages of manufacturing. Includes receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
· Review and verify that documentation is accounted for, accurate, and fulfills all applicable requirements (customer, department procedures, government regulations, etc.). Includes receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
· Maintain all documentation records in accordance with customer requirements, department procedures, government regulations, etc. Includes receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
· Knowledge of measuring equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gage (surface plate set up), comparator, and various electronic equipment.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least two years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in an electrical/mechanical manufacturing environment. Certification to IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 or J-STD-001 preferred. Prior experience with CMM preferred.
Language Ability
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to use a computer for data entry (mouse, keyboard) and for generating reports.
