RESPONSIBLITIES: Transporting dirt, stone, asphalt, debris to and from specified locations. Driving low-boy to transport equipment to and from job-sites.
Verifying the types of materials transported and ensuring they do not exceed weight restrictions. All materials tickets turned in to Superintendent weekly.
If there is down time between hauling you will be expected to help on the job-site if the Superintendent deems it necessary. Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management. Informing mechanic of any issues to ensure that the trucks are in good working order. Complying with ALL safety rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED. Valid North Carolina Class A driver's license. Valid Medical Examiner's certificate. Clean driving record. Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance and road safety regulations. Effective communications skills.
