Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning, curiosity, and social interaction among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful space.
- Support early intervention strategies for children with special education needs or developmental delays, collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Plan and execute daily lessons, activities, and assessments aligned with educational standards and standardized testing requirements.
- Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other documentation essential for child welfare and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods is preferred.
- Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages of young children.
