In this energetic position, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards and uphold the highest levels of hygiene. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of work areas, including floors, equipment, and surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct sanitation procedures in food processing or manufacturing zones to meet strict safety and health regulations
- Handle custodial tasks such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas and restrooms
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials or equipment as needed to support warehouse or production activities
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and safety protocols to ensure consistent sanitation standards are met
- Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other industrial equipment
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas requiring special attention or additional sanitation measures
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in industrial, food production, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to commercial cleaning and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks for extended periods
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety requirements
- Familiarity with food processing or warehouse operations advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
